On Thursday 11 April at 5:30 pm, the conference "The donation of the VAF Foundation" will be held in Aula N of Palazzo Liviano, organized within the cycle "The Liviano Library for..." of the Library of Sciences of Antiquity Art Music Liviano

During the meeting, open to the public, the volumes published by the VAF Foundation and generously donated to the University of Padua by the German entrepreneur and art collector Volker Walter Feierabend will be presented.

The publications of the VAF Foundation are known for their great scientific and explanatory level, as well as for the attention paid to contemporary Italian art, from twentieth-century masterpieces to the most recent creative contributions.

A year after the awarding of the honorary master's degree in Art History to Volker W. Feierabend, this event seals the esteem and consideration that the University of Padua has for his intellectual and ethical commitment dedicated to the conservation, enhancement and promotion of Italian art.

At the end of the conference and until April 17, it will be possible to visit the bibliographic exhibition “Fondazione VAF: catalogues and writings” set up in the spaces of the Liviano Library with the volumes donated by the VAF Foundation.

The initiative is organized with the patronage of the University Library System (SBA), the Department of Cultural Heritage (dBC), the Department of Historical, Geographical and Ancient Sciences (DiSSGeA) of the University of Padua.
