The new appointment of the series \u201cYoung artists at the threshold of the new millennium series\u201d, promoted by the VAF-Stiftung<\/strong> for the types of Manfredi Edizioni, summarizes in the title, DARIO MAGLIONICO. Where suspended time lives<\/em><\/strong>, declined between dream and reality, the activity of the decade 2013-2023 of a young artist faithful to figuration, yet interpreter of a poetics conjugated between solitude and presence-absence, between mystery and sense of reality.<\/p>\n Since his first solo exhibition, organized in Lecce in 2015, through the numerous international awards that have seen him constantly among the finalists, Dario Maglionico, neapolitan by birth and Milanese by adoption, has developed with coherence and continuity a language of translation into images and visions of the personal processes of study and questioning between individual and collective memory, between relationships of space and time. Artistic, psychological, scientific explorations, developed in pictorial representations of architecturally impeccable interiors, optically sharp, disturbed by unexpected and enigmatic displacements and sudden interruptions of image.<\/p>\n
